Saraswathi (all pronouns welcome) is a creative catalyst for systems transformation. She experiments with a multitude of levers, or "trim tabs" that when activated, may bring about a more just, ecological, playful, and harmonious kinship with the world.
Currently she spends her time as
co-founder of hypha.network, a platform for crowdfunding the commons,
contributor and co-creator of nebula magazine, a publication showcasing radical organizations at the edge of reality,
instigator of the Uncertain Futures Institute, an unschool for collective transformation.
In the past she cofounded and art directed Ethereal Summit, and worked as Product Design Lead for distributed basic income protocol, Circles UBI.
Saraswathi most recently has shown work as a resident of LIOS Labs. She has presented at servus.at, Radical Networks, MoneyLab, Basic Income Earth Network, Bauhaus Archiv in Berlin, and through Basic Income Berlin Lab.
Saraswathi received her bachelor's in Technocultural Studies from UC Davis in 2009, and her Masters from NYU's ITP in 2012.
