From Shilo Shiv Suleman's site:
When you breathe in, you’re breathing the 'out-breath' of trees and plants, putting us in an intimate and almost tantric flow of breath with the natural world. This installation meditates on that connection by using breath sensors designed by Saraswathi Subbaraman and Nelson Ramon. As you breathe, the installation on the wall breathes and glows with you, forcing you to watch your breath and take a moment to slow down. The creation of Brindavan lead to the installation of Breathe & Bloom at Burning Man in 2016.
Breathe and Bloom consists of 20 lotuses of varying heights of 10 to 14 feet with wind sensors mounted on the base of the stem. When a participant blows or breathes into the breath sensor, the stem and the flower in the sky carry their breath as light to from the vines to the flower petals.
